PT Eu escrevi e ilustrei esse livro, sobre um leão que vivia sozinho e tinha medo da luz.  Toda noite, o Leão deixava sua caverna para ver as estrelas refletidas no lago, sem saber que, na verdade, elas encontravam-se no céu.  Uma noite, uma estrela desce para conversar com ele.  As ilustrações reforçam a importância da luz e de sua ausência na história, tendo sido feitas em formas de papel dispostas sobre uma mesa de luz, técnica que me conduziu a pensar o livro numa referência ao cinema silencioso.

O livro recebeu o selo Altamente Recomendável da FNLIJ (Fundacão Nacional de Literatura Infanto- Juvenil).

EN This book, which I wrote and illustrated, is about a lion who lives alone and is afraid of the light. Every night, the lion leaves its cave to see the stars reflected on the lake – unaware that they are actually in the sky. One night, a star comes down to talk to him. The illustrations reinforce the importance of light in the story, both in the narrative, and the visual. They consist of papercuts photographed on the surface of a light table, technique that conducted me to think the book as a reference to the silent films.

The book has received the Highly Recommended seal by FNLIJ (National Foundation of Children Literature in Brazil).
